First steps to start using Vim

So while I was gone, I discovered vim was actually a viable tool. Back then, I was surely… Unenlightened. I looked up how you use the damn thing because you can’t just start typing right away for some reason (as I said, I was unilluminated). So, I learned how to go into insert mode. That was using the key i. And to get out of vim, press the escape key then type :wq to save and quit (:q! to not save changes and quit). Simple right?

The procrastination problem

Procrastination is a big factor in productivity, and life in general. For those of you who don’t know, procrastination is to put a task off to do some other meaningless stuff instead. Basically wasting your time when you have a task at hand. And it’s really bad, so you should stop it immediately.

Health, and its importance in productivity

So, I was sick for the past 4-5 days, and my productivity nose-dived like a plane that has equipped a half-core Pentium for a main processor. It’s bad. When you get sick, you never want to do anything other that lazily plump down and enter a cryogenic sleep state. Also, when you finally decide to man up and start working, you can’t concentrate because of the pain, pain, pain that goes on as long as the world keeps spinning.
